Blog4Brains: Obama and Religion

Man just when I'm really starting to like the guy I hear about how badly he's doing in the primaries, I could deal with Clinton being ahead but Edwards too? And so far he's a fairly distant third. Maybe he should team up and become Hill's running mate. I'm not saying he's done but things aren't looking good so far. And I was really starting to like the guy.

I'm not opposed to politicians who have faith -- in fact, I think it is necessary to help guide our country. But I want it to be real. I want it to be genuine. I dont want it to be just for the cameras.

There is a great conversation about Politicians and faith found here:

Obviously you can't be opposed to religious people in politics. We live in a semi-democracy where 85-90% of the people are religious, the majority of politicians therefore are going to be people of faith to some extent.

And after saying how I like Obama but he's doing poorly A new poll comes out saying that it's tied up. Of course thats just one poll and it doesn't change the fact that he's doing lousy in the caucuses.
